Workmanship Warranty

What is covered

• Our workmanship for 12 months from the invoice date: installation, alignment, rekeying, pinning and adjustments we performed.
• Keys we cut, for the life of the lock they were cut for, provided the lock has not been changed or damaged.
• Parts we supplied, for the manufacturer's warranty period. That warranty is passed to you in full and we will handle the claim with the supplier on your behalf where we can.

What is not covered

• Forced entry, attempted break-in, vandalism or accidental damage.
• Work performed on the same hardware by someone else after we left.
• Normal wear on consumable components, and lack of basic lubrication.
• Door, frame or building movement that later throws the door out of alignment, though we will tell you at the time if we can see that risk.
• Hardware you supplied yourself, other than our workmanship in fitting it.
• Existing hardware we repaired that was already at the end of its serviceable life, where we advised replacement and you chose repair.

Making a claim

Call (03) 7033 0253 or email admin@quickprolocksmiths.com with your invoice number and a description of the fault. We will arrange an inspection at a time that suits you. Where the claim is valid there is no charge for the inspection, the labour or the replacement part.

If the fault is outside warranty

We will tell you before doing any chargeable work, quote it, and let you decide. We do not invoice for attendance on a warranty inspection that turns out to be our responsibility.

Consumer guarantees

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If a good or service fails one of those guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.
