Terms of Service
1. Who you are contracting with
AG Locksmiths, 415 Riversdale Rd, Hawthorn East VIC 3123, phone (03) 7033 0253, email admin@quickprolocksmiths.com.
2. Quotes and pricing
- A price given by phone before we attend is an estimate based on what you describe.
- Before starting work on site we confirm a fixed price. Work does not begin until you accept that price.
- If the job turns out to be different from what was described, we stop and re-quote rather than continuing and adding charges.
- Quoted prices include callout, labour, parts and any after-hours loading unless the quote states otherwise.
3. Identification and authority
We will not open a lock, cut a key or change a lock unless we are reasonably satisfied that you are entitled to do so. We may ask for photo identification together with a lease, rates notice, utility bill, or written authority from the owner, managing agent or a listed director of the business. If satisfactory evidence is not provided we will decline the work, and a callout fee may still apply where we have already attended.
4. Access and site conditions
You must provide safe access to the work area and disclose anything we should know about the door, the property or the hardware, including previous damage or prior repair attempts. Where a door, frame or lock is already damaged or of poor construction, our work may not restore it to a fully functional state, and we will tell you if that is likely before we start.
5. Damage and non-destructive entry
We attempt non-destructive entry wherever practical. Some locks cannot be opened without damage. Where we believe destructive entry is necessary we will explain why and quote any replacement hardware before proceeding, and we will only proceed with your consent.
6. Payment
Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed account terms in writing. We issue an itemised tax invoice for every job. Accepted payment methods are advised at the time of booking.
7. Cancellation
- Cancel before we are dispatched and there is no charge.
- If we have already travelled to site, the callout fee disclosed at booking may apply.
- Special-order or custom-cut items already produced for you are charged as quoted; see our returns and refunds page.
8. Keys and key systems
You are responsible for the keys we hand over. For restricted and master key systems, duplicates are only issued to people named on the authority list you provide, and you must tell us in writing when that list changes.
9. Warranty
Workmanship is warranted for 12 months from the invoice date. Manufacturer warranties on parts we supply are passed to you in full. Warranty does not cover misuse, forced entry, vandalism, damage by others, or hardware you supplied yourself. See our warranty page for detail.
10. Liability and your consumer rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, and other than for those guarantees, our liability for any claim is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
11. Website use
Content on this site is general information about locksmithing and is not advice about your specific property or a guarantee of any security outcome. The text, layout and images on this site are our property and may not be reproduced without permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
